I am currently on the U.S. Selective Service Regional Board of Directors, a board member and co-chair of the Belton/Cass Regional Transportation Development District, an incorporator and board member for Downtown Belton Main Street, Inc., and a board member for the KC Shepherd Center. In the past I have been President of the Belton Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Cass County Corporation for Economic Development, and on the board of directors for the North American International Trade Corridor Partnership. I was also involved with the Interstate 49 Coalition.
For 15 years and during 4 mayors, I served as the executive director for the Belton Corporation for Economic Development.
Finally, I was a partner in my investment in the restaurant Rich’n Arts on Main St., a notable fixture of downtown Belton. As you can see, I have been very actively participating in the community during my 26 years of residency, especially in the areas of economic and infrastructure development.
